Our Sunday concert, “This Land is Your Land,” combines music and entertaining commentary, featuring BUCKY HALKER in a tribute to legendary folk singer, Woody Guthrie.
Come on down for a movie-and-popcorn night at the MoM! Back by popular demand, we will be screening our “VOICES FROM MT. BLOOM.” It’s a 45 minute feature of our 2017 original program of local folks portraying five special Tiskilwa citizens from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The evening begins with our Salute to Veterans. Then, Cyndee Shaffer presents “Mollies War: The WACs and WWII,” with details from her mother’s letters home from 1943 to 1945.
In annual tradition, Tiskilwa Historical Society once again takes the lead in organizing a holly-jolly Saturday along Main Street as vendors and businesses “Catch the Spirit” and help to usher in the holiday season.
